MUSEUMS in the Kingston area.

SUMMARY
Although there are several secondhand shops in Kingston that have a considerable amount of artifacts from "yesteryear", there are only two recognised museums.
The other places are listed under antique shops or secondhand shops.

MUSEUMS
1. Kingston SE branch of The National Trust's MUSEUM.

COOKE ST    Kingston Branch of the National Trust   KINGSTON

A museum that has a wealth of objects as well as information from the past. Most of the items have details about where they came from and their importance to the local area.
This is truly a community museum in the sense that most items have been generously donated to the Kingston Branch of the National Trust by local residents.
Tours of this museum are most welcome and even groups such as bus tours or school classes can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
More information on gaining access.

2. KEV'S KOLLECTION
Tractor Museum    Kev's open most times.

A private museum that has been growing in size for many years and now has been housed in a large building on the main Prince's Highway on the outskirts of Kingston SE.
Open nearly everyday, this collection is a "must see" for anyone interested in the older tractors and other machinery of the past.
More information.
